  1. Braid must be tight to last longer.

When you style hair to salon, It is very important to notify your stylist that don’t braids your hair too tight. If your braids are too tight before the weave has been installed, you will feel uncomfortably. And the pain is going to be much worse after installation. There are most people think and feel that the tighter the hair is the longer it will last. But it’s not true. This is one of the main reason that a lot of people loss the edges of the hair and the hairline move up. And have painful scabs on the scalp which causes the hair to break off. So to avoid any unwanted harm, ensure your braids are comfortable before the installation. Everyone wants their weave to be perfect, but it’s not worth that harm your scalp.

  1. Use glue on frontal or closure during sew-in. 

A lot of hair stylist will make a common mistake that is using glue on a frontal. When you installed a closure, frontal, or 360 frontal, ensure that your hair stylist knows how to install it correctly, ensure that what type of hair you have bought and what style you want. Ask as much as possible questions about the installation. Don’t suggest you that allow your stylist glue to install the frontal. The reason you don’t like adding glue to a frontal is the glue is always have to be reapplied. This method last for about a week then looks horrible once the frontal is no longer glued down. The correct way to apply a frontal or closure is to sew it down, it last longer and looks nature.

  1. Using grease on your weave.

Weave is not supposed to be weighted down or greasy. If you are a person that work with dry hair, and you must go for a light weight natural oil. If you purchased low grade hair bundles and dealing with a lot of tangling and matting, then applying a small about of oil or sheen will help.
